Single Herb Tinctures
Herbal tinctures are a liquid solution of herbs and alcohol. The herbs in our Single Herb Tinctures are always harvested with respect and care at their peak seasonal potency and processed in small batches. Tinctures are produced with pharmaceutical grade organic cane spirits according to standard tincturing ratios. They are infused for one complete lunar cycle in glass jars and are then pressed and bottled.
Many of these single herb tinctures are indicated in herbal protocols for Lyme infections. See the link below for our current offerings of single herb tinctures that can be used in herbal protocol for Lyme and its co-infections.
Red Root Tincture
Red Root Tincture
Our Red Root tincture (Ceanothus velutinus) is wild-harvested in late fall from the roots of Snowbush Ceanothus which grows in abundance in the forests covering the lower slopes of Mt. Shasta. Red root stimulates lymphatic and interstitial fluid circulation, thereby reducing swelling of lymph nodes and tissue. Ceanothus root is an indispensable herb for chronic swollen lymph, sore throat, tonsillitis, strep throat and mononucleosis. It also enhances the liver’s ability to metabolize fats. Red root can reduce portal vein congestion and blood stagnation. This action reduces congestion in the reproductive organs as well as venous issues like varicose veins, spider veins and hemorrhoids.
Contains: Fresh wild harvested Red root (Ceanothus velutinus) and organic cane alcohol.
Red root tincture will be available again in late Fall of 2023.
