Single Herb Tinctures
Herbal tinctures are a liquid solution of herbs and alcohol. The herbs in our Single Herb Tinctures are always harvested with respect and care at their peak seasonal potency and processed in small batches. Tinctures are produced with pharmaceutical grade organic cane spirits according to standard tincturing ratios. They are infused for one complete lunar cycle in glass jars and are then pressed and bottled.

Self Heal Tincture
Our self heal (Prunella vulgaris) tincture is crafted from fresh self heal leaves and flowers that are cultivated with organic methods in our gardens in Mount Shasta, CA and organic cane spirits. This abundant, widespread and unassuming herb has many virtues and a long traditional use in TCM and Western herbalism.
Known as a great wound healer, used internally, it has affinity for the throat, lymphatic system, liver and kidneys. Self heal is astringent, anti-inflammatory, has hepatoprotective properties, and has been researched extensively for its antiviral properties. It can stimulate the lymph, aiding lymphatic congestion and sore throats. In TCM, it clears liver heat and nourishes the kidneys. A gentle and effective anti-viral, self heal can attenuate the onset of chronic viral outbreaks and support the healing of viral infections, in particular herpes infections. As an anti-inflammatory and wound healing herb, self heal can support the healing of the digestive system and mitigate the inflammation associated with conditions such as IBS, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s.
