About: Our Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale) Tincture contains fresh feral dandelion root, wild grown on our micro farm in Mount Shasta, CA, organic cane alcohol. In the autumn, after the first frost, we harvest dandelion roots that have grown wild throughout the garden beds and tincture them fresh in organic cane alcohol.

Our Process: The herbs in our Healing Salves are always hand harvested with respect and care at their peak seasonal potency. Salves are produced from fresh herbs grown on our micro farm or harvested from the wild and processed in small batches. Fresh herbs are wilted or dried to remove water and each herb is infused in organic oil and then hand pressed. We then blend these medicinal oils with high quality pure filtered beeswax, organic unrefined shea butter and vitamin E oil. These ingredients are chosen for their soothing and emollient properties. We add specific organic essential oils for their medicinal virtues. Wise Mountain Botanicals’ salves are for topical application and are an excellent way to directly deliver plant medicine through the skin.
