Gut Vitality Tincture
from $16.95

About: Gut Vitality is an herbal formula to balance and restore optimal gut function by supporting and repairing the integrity of the intestinal mucosa. A healthy, vital mucusal layer supports immune function and nutrient absorption and assimilation. When the mucosal layer is compromised from the assaults of modern living, (ie. processed food, pharmaceuticals, alcohol, stress and toxins), leaky gut often manifests. This results in a wide range of symptoms including low energy and fatigue, painful indigestion, food sensitivities, nutrient deficiencies, skin problems and other uncomfortable digestive issues.

The demulcent, astringent and vulnerary herbs synergize in this formula to support the body in resolving inflammation, restoring vital gut function and integrity while promoting healing from leaky gut and its associated symptoms. Calendula, plantain and self heal have a long tradition of use for their anti-inflammatory and wound healing and soothing applications. Licorice and chamomile act as demulcents that coat and soothe the mucus membranes to promote healing. Chamomile and wood betony have affinity for the enteric brain (the nervous system rooted in the gut) and can calm the digestive system and ease tension. Wood betony and agrimony act as astringents in the formula to tone and improve the integrity of digestive tissues.

Ingredients: fresh cultivated Calendula flowers (Calendula officinalis), fresh cultivated Plantain leaves (Plantago lanceolata), fresh cultivated Chamomile flowers (Matricaria recutita), fresh cultivated Self-heal (Prunella vulgaris), fresh cultivated Wood Betony (Stachys officinalis), fresh cultivated Agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria), dry certified organic Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra), organic cane alcohol and pure spring water.
